Patna: An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on Richter Scale occurred at the depth of 5 km with its epicentre 20 km north-west of Nalanda at 21:23:47 (IST) today.
The epicentre was at Latitude 25.41 and Longitude, 85.35, the India Meteorological Department said.

- 20km NW of Nalanda;
- 28km NW of Bihar Sharif
- 77km NNE of Gaya
- 166km NW of Giridih (Jharkhand)
