At a time when the entire world is battling COVID-19 and schools and colleges are shut down, not only the main stream society is affected but also, education of persons with special needs (additional needs) is one of the major concerns. Online classes there have proved to be the solution for many students to practice and continue learning. However most of.the time parents of children/adult with diverse needs with profound challenges have been struggling to find ways to retain knowledge and deliver the new learning through online classes.
Leveraging our digital expertise, our Delhi based education solution company AIMS Media Pvt. Ltd. has not only been able to convert many of the classes of beneficiaries into online through multiple platforms such as Zoom, GoTo training, GoTo Meeting and many other real time video conferencing platforms but also, educators have comforted the parents of special needs with numerous innovative and creative pedagogical solutions.
The team of Operations, Academics, Multimedia educators, Experts, Psychologists and Designers here have collaborated and decided to put forward the links of many creative and innovative art based activities from the library of multimedia on pro bono basis i.e. at Zero cost, developed by AIMS Media through the search engine name “Young Creations” (www.aims.media/young_creations).
Ideology incorporated behind developing the search engine is to engage productively with minimal screen time for which facility to avail three activities a day has been stated. A team of experts at AIMS Media offers fifteen new innovative activities on every fifth day which help users to remain engaged meaningfully and learn new skills. Its functional approach has not only assisted in engaging children productively but offered them a ray of hope to remain active and optimistic.
The team of designers proficiently incorporated their acquaintance in the initiative, while understanding the needs and wants of the potential beneficiaries irrespective of conventional techniques and methods to educate and learn.
