Patna: Visiting zoo during summer break is something that most of the children look forward to. This time though, the lockdown in order to contain the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak has robbed children of the fun of visiting zoo. But there is always a way. The Zoo authorities at Patna’s Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan have come up with a smart idea of making the zoo reach the people especially children on their digital screens. “We call this Zoo Outreach Program,” said Amit Kumar, Director, Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan, said. This video is about Giraffe and the zoo authorities in Patna plan to bring out more such series with comprehensive information on different zoo animals to educate children.
