Every human being is full of emotions and has access to information. Say, everybody is blessed with the ability to communicate. However, some can express themselves orally as well as in writing. Some can’t do it either. The majority of people keep their emotions pent up and overlook the essential info, maybe because of their inability to speak and write properly and suitably.
However, I believe that every individual is a writer manque. In other words, everybody has the latent talent and the potential to turn out to be a writer. But then, they fail to achieve what they aspire to, despite having the ability. It is just because they don’t enjoy having the opportunity to be professionally groomed and trained. One of them—you—may be required to recognise such a talent in yourself and value some sort of training.
Therefore, it calls for an institutionalised mechanism for imparting education and training in writing skills to give a concrete shape to your wandering and meandering speech and thoughts. A step in the right direction can remove the barriers to effective communication skills.
Further, our effort should be to negate the maxim — “Writers are born. They’re not made.” It is hackneyed, though. Moreover, we daresay that writing is nobody’s legacy. It is an art that comes through practice. It is cultivated and acquired. So, you can own it by getting hold of your pen. If you endeavour to master it, you can get mastery of it with one’s expert guidance, helping you streamline your thoughts and make them lucid, coherent and relevant. Also, that will enable you to think in a creatively focused manner that can earn you a feather in your cap.
There’s no denying that what keeps you alive for successive generations is literature, whether it is about you or by you. Then, why not try creating everlasting, indestructible, and imperishable intellectual wealth?
Note that a rough diamond can always be polished to enhance its radiance and brilliance. Added to that, you are required to realise there’s a diamond in you. It means you, too, can be turned into what you’d like to. You could be a better version of yourself and turn into a creative diamond. In a word, even a crash course does wonders!
