“A flight has started from Haryana to Ayodhya Dham today. This means that now the holy land of Shri Krishna has been directly connected to the city of Lord Rama. Direct flights are now being operated from Agrasen Airport to Valmiki Airport. Very soon flights to other cities will also start from here,” Modi said. He added that the laying of the foundation stone of the new terminal building of Hisar airport “is the beginning of taking Haryana’s aspirations to a new height”.
The Hisar airport terminal will feature a passenger terminal, cargo terminal, and an ATC building. Flights now operate from Hisar to Ayodhya (twice weekly), with three weekly flights to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh. Modi announced plans for additional destinations, emphasizing the airport’s role in connecting Haryana, the land associated with Shri Krishna, to key cities. He highlighted that the project fulfills his vision of enabling air travel for all, noting that India’s airport count has grown from 74 in 2014 to over 150 today, with 90 aerodromes connected under the UDAN scheme and over 600 routes operational. He expressed confidence that the airport will inspire Haryana’s youth, providing new opportunities.

This unit aims to ensure uninterrupted power supply and boost Haryana’s energy self-sufficiency. Additionally, a Compressed Biogas Plant in Mukarabpur, with an annual capacity of 2,600 metric tonnes, was announced to manage organic waste, produce clean energy, and support environmental conservation under the GOBARDhan initiative.
Modi also inaugurated the ₹1,070 crore Rewari Bypass project under Bharatmala Pariyojana. Spanning 14.4 km, it will reduce congestion in Rewari city, cut Delhi–Narnaul travel time by an hour, and enhance economic and social activity in the region.
Speaking on the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Modi described the day as significant for the nation. He reiterated the government’s focus on connectivity, welfare, and social justice, citing the projects as examples of inclusive development. Modi praised Haryana’s contributions to sports, agriculture, and global recognition, expressing trust in its youth to drive India’s progress. He highlighted Yamunanagar’s industrial role, mentioning its plywood, brass, and steel sectors, and its cultural significance, including the Kapal Mochan Mela, Rishi Ved Vyas’s legacy, and Guru Gobind Singh’s historical connection.
Modi noted that over the past decade, air travel has become accessible to millions, with record-breaking passenger numbers annually. He credited the UDAN scheme for making air travel affordable and connecting remote areas. The Hisar airport, he said, will elevate Haryana’s aspirations, fostering economic growth and job creation.
