Broadly categorised into two groups – Kashmiri Pandit Cuisine and Kashmiri Muslim Food, the food is primarily dominated by meat dishes but at the same time also offers a wide variety of vegetables and rice dishes. Aab Gosht
The traditional Kashmiri lamb curry Aab Gosht is made with a combination of lamb, milk and a handful of regular Indian spices that give the dish a distinct taste and aroma. Aab Gosht is typically served with plain steamed rice and is a part of Wazwan, a multi-course Kashmiri meal.
