New Delhi: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday identified the following districts as worst affected with COVID-19 and deployed twenty Central Public Health Teams from the ministry to these districts. These districts are Mumbai, Ahmedabad, South East Delhi, Indore, Pune, Jaipur, Thane, Surat, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Central Delhi, Agra, Kolkata, Kurnool, Vadodara, Guntur, Krishna, and Lucknow.
Of these districts which have the highest COVID-19 cases, four are in Andhra Pradesh, 3 in Maharasthra, 2 each in Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The remaining three districts fall in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal.

The central teams will assist the State Governments and support the States in implementation of containment measures for COVID-19 in the affected areas within these districts/cities.[the_ad_placement id=”sidebar-feed”]
