Dear Shri Nitish Kumar
You are our Chief Minister and we look up to you for your great leadership during these hours of anxiety and stress. I request you to please get the verification of the status of the situation arisen out of COVID-19 pandemic from your competent authority.
It is very clear that the ground reality is totally different than what is claimed officially. It’s also on record that 300 odd senior doctors have been issued show-cause notice for ignorance of duty. This makes, the common citizens like us worried as it also implies that the medical system in the state is on the verge of collapse.
We have all the reasons to trust you and your administration but this trust is breached because of the wrong signals emanating from your end. We try to pick up the threads and they appear misleading. We have no reason to dispute your claims that the state government has thus far tested about 20 crore population for COVID-19. We wish to believe your claims that the recent spurt in COVID-19 cases are only because of the the hapless migrant workers who are returning home in large numbers. But if that is correct then what about the claims that these migrant workers were well screened before they were allowed to enter the state, and that they were quarantined after arrival in the state?

Sir, please allow me to make you aware of the ground reality in Bihar today. The lockdown has been a total failure in the state. The administration has failed in making the citizens follow social distancing, and this is very scary. We feel concerned. Even selective opening of various offices has led to chaos and seems unmanageable. The photos attached with my letter are self-evident.
This is a deadly situation. I humbly request you to take strong decisions to ensure that sanity returns to state roads. We are always here to support you as this is only in our interest. Please take stern action against those who violate the lockdown norms. It is a matter of life and death for all of us, as we cannot overlook the destruction this deadly Corona virus has caused acroos the globe, claiming over 3,00,000 precious lives.
