New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry today allowed opening of 3000 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated schools as assessment centres across India to facilitate evaluation of answer sheets of CBSE Board exams. Following the permission, 3000 CBSE affiliated schools have been identified as assessment centres across India and special permission will be granted to these schools for the limited purpose of evaluation, Union Human Resources Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said. He hoped that this will help to quickly evaluate the 2.5 crore answer sheets. However, the results will be declared only after the remaining board examinations have been conducted (scheduled between July 1 and 15, 2020).

When Covid-19 will be at an explosive peak, as predicted by AIIMS and few noted officials in June July, how is CBSE deciding to conduct the NEET 10th and 12th Board exams ? Please do not play with the emotions of the students and not create a traumatic situation for them.
