Now as per the modifications the students or candidates and the accompanying parents who need to move in and out of the State due to competitive/ selection examinations, may be facilitated by waiving off the condition of quarantine, if they exit or re-enter the State or vice-versa within a period of 72 hours, the state government stated here on Saturday. It added that the admit card issued by the examination authority would be a valid document to enter and exit the State and no separate registration will be required by the student/candidate and accompanying parent.
During their visit to the State for examination, the students/candidates and their parents would be allowed to stay in local hotels or units registered with the HP Tourism Department.
However, the labour brought from outside the State by the Orchardist, Agriculturist, Contractor, Project Proponents or their contractors to the work site will be brought with due approval of the District Administration and quarantined as per the guidelines of Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Himachal Pradesh issued from time to time. They will be allowed to work on site only after completing the quarantine period or testing negative.
