The Assembly speaker had made it mandatory for anyone entering the Assembly complex for the Monsoon Session to show a Covid-19 negative certificate.
It may be mentioned that Khattar had met Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on August 18 and on the same day, Shekhawat informed via a tweet that he had tested positive for COVID-19. “I am hospitalised on the advice of doctors. I request that those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, isolate themselves and get themselves examined,” he had written.
Following this Khattar too had got himself tested on August 20 but his test report had come negative for COVID-19 then. He however had decided to get himself home-quarantined for three days as a precaution.
