New Delhi: The Kanodia Group, which has cement plants in Bihar and other states, has won the Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry award for being the fastest growing cement company in 2021. The award was declared at the Chamber’s 3rd Asian African Leadership Forum on April 24, 2021. The Chamber felicitated the Group’s managing director Vishal Kanodia as “A true leader…who leads by setting examples…”
The Group has four cement plants – 3 units at Shikandrabad, District Buland Sahar in Uttar Pradesh and one unit at District Bhabhua in Bihar having capacity of 3.5 million tons per annum.
The Group’s Integrated Grinding Unit with the capacity of 1.50 million tons per annum is under commissioning at Amethi District in Uttar Pradesh. Once its production starts, the company’s total capacity will reach 5 million tonnes per annum.
The Company with its brands – Concrete Gold Cement, Bigcem Cement and BigCem Premium Plus Cement – is operating in Western UP. Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi and Bihar and with the production of Amethi Plant Company makes its strong presence in the central and eastern UP also, Vishal Kanodia, said here today. He also informed that the Group has recently entered in the Hygiene Industry, with the product ranges of raw materials like spun bond, spun lace etc of Hygiene Industry and finished products like sanitary,. He said the production was expected by June-2021.
