Haridwar:Following pleas from their supporters who wanted the seers of Matri Sadan suspend their ongoing agitation in the wake of the coronavirus spread, Sadhvi Padmavati and Swami Shivanand Saraswati relented on Sunday and broke their indefinite fast for the cause of holy river Ganga.

While the Swami was on 73rd day of his fast, the Sadhvi was on fast since Decemner 15, 2019.

A great relief that Swamiji & Sadhvi ji have
withheld their Satyagrah for Ma Ganga since the whole world is fighting Corona Pandemic. Fact is we need safe water equally available to all to save ourselves from this curse of Mother Nature. We need Swamiji’s guidance & moral strength for many years to get our rivers naturally flowing unpolluted. Once Corona calamity is over we all water conservationists have to do Satyagrah on banks of all rivers & lakes to take forward the movement of Water Conservation. Let Swamil ji & Rajendrasingh ji give a call & farmers, villagers & citizens will observe a fast to show the solidarity for Water.
