Las Vegas: Indian composer Ricky Kej and vocalist Falguni Shah were among the winners at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2022. While Kej won the Grammy for the second time, it was the first for US-based Falguni Shah, who won her Grammy for the Best Children’s Album, A Colourful World.
40-year-old US-born Kej, whose family had shifted to Bengaluru when he was a child, had won his first Grammy in 2015 for his album, Winds of Samsara, in the Best New Age Album category. This time, he won the award along with drummer Stewart Copeland who he calls his childhood hero, for their album Divine Tides, in the same category.
