Guwahati: India’s northeast experienced a second earthquake within a day today, this time the epicentre being in Karimgunj region of Assam. The intensity of the earthquake was 3.5 at the depth of 20 km and it occurred at 17:28:17 IST on Latitude 24.39 North and Longitude 92.53 East, the National Center for Seismology informed.

Earlier an earthquake of 4.4 magnitude hit the Khasi Hill region of Meghalaya at 01:13:17 IST today.
