New Delhi: To clear the extra rush of passengers during the summer season, Indian Railways will run 4010 trips of 217 special trains. Special Trains have been planned to connect major destinations across the country on railway routes.
Following is the list of special trains released by the Ministry of Railways today:
A watch on any malpractices – like cornering of seats, over-charging and touting activity etc. is being done and strictly monitored, the Ministry said. It, however, claimed that a false message was being circulated in a section of the press regarding recruitment for 9000 posts of Sub Inspectors and Constables in Railway Protection Force (RPF).
“It is informed for the guidance of all concerned that no such notification has been issued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) or Ministry of Railways on their official websites or through any print or electronic media,” the Ministry stated.
