New Delhi: The induction of three new members today makes the Lokpal of India office achieve its full strength of nine members including the Chairperson, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, informed here.
The Chairperson of Lokpal of India, Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar, administered the oath of office to the new members.
The following persons took oath as Judicial Members and Members of Lokpal of India, in a ceremony organised today at 11:00 AM at Lokpal of India Campus, in the national capital:

- Justice Sanjay Yadav

- Sushil Chandra
Justice Lingappa Narayana Swamy, before joining as a Judicial Member of Lokpal of India, was the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court and is a former Judge of the Karnataka High Court.
Justice Sanjay Yadav, before joining as a Judicial Member, was the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court and is a former Judge of the Allahabad High Court and Madhya Pradesh High Court.
Sushil Chandra is a 1980 batch IRS (IT) officer. Before joining as a Member of Lokpal of India, he was the 24th Chief Election Commissioner of India and previously served as the Chairperson of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
With the swearing-in of three new members today, the office of the Lokpal of India is now at its full strength of nine members including the Chairperson.
Today’s ceremony was also attended by Members of the Lokpal, Justice Hemant Gupta, Chairperson, India International Arbitration Centre (IIAC), Justice Indermeet Kaur Kochhar, Member, Mahanadi Water Disputes Tribunal (MWDT), Justice Ravi Ranjan, Member (MWDT), Praveen Kumar Srivastava, Central Vigilance Commissioner, Arvinda Kumar, Vigilance Commissioner and Senior officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
