New Delhi: Justice Nuthalapati Venkata Ramana, took oath as the 48th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India today. He made and subscribed to the oath of office before the President, Ram Nath Kovind, at a ceremony held at 11 am in the Ashoka Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Justice Ramana succeeds Justice SA Bobde who retired as Chief Justice yesterday.
