Muscat: Keeping with the modern trend of expanding business to the wider sphere of the globe, Suhol al Fayha, one of the largest trading company in fresh fruits and vegetables in the Sultanate of Oman, have launched its new logo which depicts unity, faith and loyalty, at a glittering ceremony here.
The mission of this organization has been aligned with the vision of its founders to serve the population with premium quality products and services, in a country where a vast gravel desert plain covers most of central Oman and lacks vegetation. Much of the country’s interior falls within the sandy, treeless, and largely waterless region of the Arabian Peninsula.
One of the proactive initiatives of the group, the ‘Farm To Fork’ approach, has proved to be a great success as it supported the sustainability initiative of the country.
Suhol al Fayha is the first ISO 22000: 2018 certified fresh fruits and vegetables grower and distributor in Oman as “it keeps quality as its credo”.
“Our initiative to support local farmers and crops was possible with our businesses spanning from farms in different regions of Oman to distributing them to every nook and corner of Oman through our 150 operating facilities,” said Abdul Vahid, Managing Director of Suhol.
The three-decade-old company having a presence across the gulf countries besides India takes pride in being known as an Omani company and employs a total of 1,700 people out of which 1,400 workforce is in Oman, Vahid said.
The support from the various governmental and commercial institutions in Oman along with its dedicated partners makes it dreams to further expand its business laterals in the Sultanate and far beyond. Abdul Jabbar, Chairman of the group, said, “the new logo of Suhol al Fayha, depicts unity, faith and loyalty, this will guide the younger generation in the family who are ready to take up the mettle of family business of over three decades, to further heights.
