Next round of tournament to be held in Kanpur on March 20
New Delhi: Baichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS) registered a 3-1 win against VIVA FOOTBALL in the finals of the novel Max life IKF- DELHI U-14 tournament finals after two days of thrilling football action from over 250 kids from Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Himachal, who displayed their skills here between March 13 and 14, 2021.

Chief Guest Harish Chandra, who is a senior coach with Sports Authority of India, felicitated the winning teams and runners-up. Max life player of the tournament was Kumar Arman (VIVA Football) and the Best goalkeeper was Michael.M. Rajee (BBFS). The top scorer of the tournament was Aditya Adhikari (VIVA football).
The Delhi leg of IKF U-14 tournament was organised in association with Football Delhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. In all 26 teams, participated in this tw0-day tournament.
The winners will now represent Delhi in zonal finals in August against city winners of other north zone cities. The next IKF U-14 football event will now be held in Kanpur at ‘Green Park International Stadium’ in association with the ‘J.N.T’ organization on March 20, 2021.
In the coming months, tournaments will also take place in multiple cities across India and the finals will take place in Mumbai in the presence of international scouts ‘Pro soccer global’ and ‘Perfect Football’ to scout the talent at the national level.
The teams are vying with each others to be trained to be among the best in the world, and the overall winners of the IKF national tournament will be taken to Europe free of cost for trials with European clubs.
The tournament is an initiative of IKF to promote and develop grassroots football in India.
