Noida: An earthquake of 3.2 magnitude on Richter Scale occured in Delhi National Capital Region here at 22:42:29 IST on Wednesday. The epicentre was 19 km south east of Noida in Uttar Pradesh and its depth was 3.2 km, National Center of Seismology (NCS), said.
This is the fifth earthquake to happen in Delhi NCR in just about a month, and second within a week. There was a medium intensity earthquake of 4.5 magnitude near Rohtak in Haryana on May 30 .
On Wednesday morning, tremors were also felt in Meghalaya and its epicentre was in the Bangladesh-India border region.
