Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurates Jabalpur – Indore – Jabalpur and Indore – Gwalior – Indore flights route
New Delhi: Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia along with Minister of State General Vijay Kumar Singh (Retired) inaugurated Jabalpur – Indore – Jabalpur & Indore – Gwalior – Indore flights route in the presence of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The routes will be operated by Alliance Air thrice a week.
The enhanced air connectivity is expected to encourage tourism, trade and other economic activities in the state. The ministry stated it will also improve the ease of living for the people in the region.
The flights will operate under the following schedule:
Scindia noted that three major cities of Madhya Pradesh were being connected by air route on a single day. The Ministry of Civil Aviation stated it was working to help these cities make the full use of their growth potential. The Minister assured that the infrastructure development projects going on in these cities will be completed as per timelines.
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan appreciated the Ministry of Civil Aviation for enhancing air connectivity in the state and assured cooperation by the state government in the developmental work.
General Singh (Retd.) said that the increasing number of flights have given wings to the aspirations of the people of the people of Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur.
The inauguration was attended among others by Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Pradhuman Singh Tomar, Minister of Energy, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Tulsi Silawat, Minister of Water Resources, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Shankar Lalwani, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Rakesh Singh, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Vivek Tankha, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). In addition, Usha Padhee, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Vikram Dev Dutt, CMD, AIAH, and Vineet Sood, CEO, Alliance Air.
