AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy
State Affairs: Andhra Pradesh

Vizag: People have not forgotten the way N. Chandra Babu Naidu dealt with the arrest of Mudragada Padmanabham. Entire State witnessed it. Of course, I am not commenting on why Mudragada is silent ever since Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister.
During the unlawful arrest of Mudragada, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned the arrest as opposition leader and said “People have right to revolt, Mr. Mudragada Padmanabham is questioning Mr. Naidu to implement the promises made by Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. Mr. Naidu is introducing special new culture by arresting anyone who questions him and beating him in police custody.”
Look at the current situation and the role reversal. Now YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did an unlawful arrest of an MP and took him into custody, and Chandra Babu Naidu is in opposition and doing the same what Jagan Mohan Reddy did while in opposition.
Bosses of both the ruling and opposition parties are having the similar head weight and disrespect towards the law by misusing the bureaucracy for their illegal and unethical acts and deeds. There has been a severe decline the Rule of Law in Andhra Pradesh in the last couple of decades. I blame two regional parties for that and especially the two families of Raja Sekhar Reddy and Chandra Babu Naidu. They ruined the democracy in the State. All they knew is how to trap the voters and get into power which they are able to do quite successfully so far.
For both the former and present Chief Ministers, their roles and positions have changed but their deeds prove that that they the the birds of same feather. It is time they mend their ways. The sooner the better for the sake of accountability and upholding democratic norms and the Rule of Law.
