When cyclone ‘Burevi ‘weakened into a depression
Residents of coastal Tamil Nadu and Kerala heaved a sigh of relief as Cyclone Burevi weakened into deep depression, which is further likely to weaken into a Depression during next 12 hours. Today our readers sent us photographs from Chennai, where it has been raining heavily since yesterday morning, Tuticorin, where the authorities shut down the airport today (in Tamil Nadu) and Kochi in Kerala, where earlier an Orange alert was sounded and airport remains shut till Saturday.
